# Crosspoint: get paid for what you build

> Sell software, courses and digital products to customers anywhere, from anywhere in Africa, and get paid out to your bank or mobile money.

## What is Crosspoint?

Crosspoint lets you sell what you build to customers anywhere in the world, from anywhere in Africa. Your customers pay by card or wallet; you get paid out in your local currency, to your bank account in Nigeria or your mobile money wallet anywhere else in Africa, or in stablecoin.

We're the [merchant of record](https://staging-docs.crosspoint.finance/africa/merchant-of-record.md): we take the payments, send the receipts, check for fraud and handle disputes, so you don't need a payment company of your own.

## Get started

**1. Create your account**

[Sign up for Crosspoint](https://staging.crosspoint.finance/signup) with GitHub or your email, and create your store.

**2. Get verified**

Verify your identity and we'll review your store, usually within one business day. See [Identity verification](https://staging-docs.crosspoint.finance/africa/identity-verification.md) and [Account reviews](https://staging-docs.crosspoint.finance/africa/account-reviews.md).

**3. Add a product**

Choose a one-time purchase or a subscription, set your price and pick what customers get. See [Products](https://staging-docs.crosspoint.finance/features/products.md).

**4. Start selling**

**No code**

Create a [checkout link](https://staging-docs.crosspoint.finance/features/checkout/links.md) and share it on your website, social media or by message.

**On your website**

Add [embedded checkout](https://staging-docs.crosspoint.finance/features/checkout/embed.md) so customers pay without leaving your site.

**With code**

Use our [SDKs](https://staging-docs.crosspoint.finance/africa/sdks.md) or the [API](https://staging-docs.crosspoint.finance/api-reference) to create checkouts and manage customers from your app.

**5. Stay in sync**

Set up [webhooks](https://staging-docs.crosspoint.finance/integrate/webhooks/endpoints.md) to hear about purchases, subscription changes and refunds as they happen.
